Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an AV/ICT technician in the Washington DC area for a short-term project. You will install and service Crestron Flex Videobar 70 systems and related hardware, ensuring proper wiring, rack assembly, and power management while adhering to AVIXA standards.

The role requires government-network support experience and a bachelor’s degree, with a focus on equipment installation, maintenance, and documentation. Short-term assignment with on-site work in DC.

Qualifications

• Must hold CST or CTS - Installation certification.
• Must hold Crestron DM-NVX-N certification.
• Must hold Crestron CNS-I certification.
• Master Programmer certification (gold level; diamond preferred).

Responsibilities

• Install and connect new equipment and remove old equipment from workspaces, including packing for shipment and labor to replace wiring infrastructure.
• Upgrade Crestron Flex Videobar 70 system and related components, including TV, mounting hardware and accessories.
• Apply AVIXA industry standards for wiring, rack assembly, cable management and power handling.
