Responsibilities
- Manage scheduling and registration functions for patient visits during a single call
- Verify patient information, including demographics and insurance, to secure payment and perform collection efforts
- Handle complex pre-registration tasks, including financial responsibility assessment and pre-payment collection
- Ensure all pre-certification requirements are completed by obtaining necessary authorizations
- Assist with additional duties as needed based on departmental requirements
Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Minimum of two years of customer service experience
- Previous experience in a call center environment is preferred
- Familiarity with pre-registration and scheduling processes is preferred
- Basic typing ability and proficiency in a Windows-based computer environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Two plus years of college education or equivalent customer service experience
- Completion of a related medical certification program
- Experience using dual computer monitors in a call center setting
- Strong multitasking abilities in a production-driven environment
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
