You will support department operations while following Vallarta’s food safety and honesty standards, ensuring rotating stock and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a strong team attitude, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, English proficiency, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cremeria, seafood, and meat products is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, crowded environment.
• Must speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Team-oriented, respectful, and professional attitude.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly, helpful attitude.
• Ensure products are fresh and rotated per guidelines.
• Promote sales through suggestive selling.
• Use slicers and knives safely per safety policies.
• Maintain clean displays and counters in cremeria/seafood/meat.
• Stock and fill display cases and coolers as needed.
• Transport products to chosen storage areas and tables.
• Notify the Lead or Store Director when supplies are needed.
• Monitor case temperatures and report discrepancies.
• Know all cremeria, seafood, and meat products and uses.
• Follow cleaning and sanitation practices; assist in sanitation.
• Respond to customer requests with honesty in packaging and pricing.
• Follow weights/measure codes as per state laws.
