Job summary

Orion Placement in Atlanta’s Buckhead area is seeking a licensed attorney with 3+ years of litigation experience, including creditors’ rights and commercial collections, to join our growing, multi-state practice. This is a full-time, on-site role offering direct collaboration with attorneys and the broader legal team.

You will own matters from pre-suit strategy through litigation, judgment, and enforcement, draft pleadings and discovery, appear in court, and work with senior lawyers to maximize

• 3+ years of litigation experience required.
• 1+ year of creditors’ rights, commercial collections, or related commercial litigation experience required.
• Additional state bar admissions are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage creditors’ rights and commercial collections litigation matters from initial evaluation through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Appear in court for hearings, conferences, motions, and other proceedings.
• Develop litigation and collection strategies designed to maximize client recoveries.
• Handle pre-suit negotiations, workouts, settlement discussions, and enforcement matters.
• Communicate directly with clients regarding case strategy, status, risks, and recommended next steps.
• Manage an active caseload while maintaining strong organization, responsiveness, and deadlines.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff on complex or multi-jurisdictional matters.
