Job summary

Orionplacement in Atlanta's Buckhead area is seeking an attorney licensed to practice in Georgia with 3+ years of litigation experience, including creditors' rights, commercial collections, or closely related commercial litigation.

This on-site role offers meaningful ownership of cases from pre-suit strategy through judgment and enforcement, direct collaboration with experienced attorneys, and growth opportunities within an expanding multi-state practice.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia Bar license required.
• 3+ years of litigation experience required.
• 1+ year of creditors' rights, commercial collections, or related commercial litigation experience required.
• Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and courtroom skills.
• Ability to independently manage litigation matters and deadlines.
• Additional state bar admissions are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage creditors' rights and commercial collections litigation matters from initial evaluation through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Appear in court for hearings, conferences, motions, and other proceedings.
• Develop litigation and collection strategies designed to maximize client recoveries.
• Handle pre-suit negotiations, workouts, settlement discussions, and enforcement matters.
• Communicate directly with clients regarding case strategy, status, risks, and recommended next steps.
• Manage an active caseload while maintaining strong organization, responsiveness, and deadlines.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff on complex or multi-jurisdictional matters.
