Goldman Sachs is seeking an experienced Credit Research Analyst in New York to join Global Investment Research. You will analyze global corporate credit markets, publish timely research, and support client-facing activities with data-driven insights.

The role involves working with cross-asset teams, updating research decks, and contributing to data infrastructure improvements while maintaining strong communication and on-site collaboration with colleagues in multiple cities.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4+ years of experience in investment strategy research, with familiarity with corporate credit markets (IG, HY, loans, private credit).
• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or STEM, or CFA/CAIA preferred.
• Strong quantitative skills with applied statistics and econometrics.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to align with team objectives and work through obstacles.
• Desire to work in a collaborative, on-site environment with colleagues in multiple cities.
• Experience using Python, SAS, SQL for analysis and data manipulation.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg, PitchBook LCD, Dealogic, Haver, Preqin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret large data sets related to the global corporate credit market (liquid and private).
• Assist in publishing timely investment research, including weekly pieces and long-form deep dives.
• Update charts/data for research and client marketing decks as part of the production process.
• Support internal stakeholders with data requests and client meetings as appropriate.
• Collaborate with the broader Macro Strategy team across asset classes and regional economists.
• Help modernize our data infrastructure where applicable.
