GoodLeap in the United States is seeking a Credit Strategy and Decisioning Manager to lead underwriting policy configuration within our decision platform. You'll work with Capital Markets, Treasury, Credit Risk, Product, and Engineering to improve policy performance and pilot new approaches with vendors.

The role emphasizes governance, dashboards, and communication with senior leaders, with opportunities for bonus and equity.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of credit and underwriting policy and how configuration translates to borrower outcomes.
• Experience building monitoring dashboards and translating data into leadership insights.
• Proficient with SQL, Python, Databricks, Tableau, and AI tools for policy testing.
• Strong ownership with minimal day-to-day direction and sound judgment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Translate credit policies into decisioning flows and document active overrides.
• Monitor policy performance via dashboards and surface undocumented nuances.
• Present status, risks, and decisions to senior leadership.
• Maintain version history, audit trails, and change-approval workflows.
• Design and run A/B/Champion/Challenger tests for policy changes.
• Evaluate vendor solutions and pilot integrations for returns.
• Prioritize configuration changes with product and engineering capacity.
