Job summary

Space Coast Credit Union in Miramar, FL is seeking a Credit Solutions Associate at our Miramar Operations Center. The role supports members with delinquent accounts, offering payment plans and options to bring loans current, while representing SCCU with quality service.

This hybrid position requires 1-2 years in debt collections or sales, a High School diploma, and provides starting hourly pay of $22.18–$23.48 plus benefits, including health, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Experience with Vehicle and Mortgage Collections and Loss Mitigation preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalency required.

Responsibilities

• Provides solutions to bring past due accounts current, excluding legal/bankrupt accounts, across consumer, mortgage, and business loans.
• Accepts all inbound calls, arranges payments, researches past due issues, and coordinates with Loan Servicing for corrections.
• Attempts outreach to past due members with a predictive dialer and documents actions, payments, and promises.

Credit Solutions Associate Key Responsibilities

• Provides solutions which will bring past due accounts current, excluding legal and bankrupt accounts, in order to keep delinquent loans to a minimum. Works all loans to include but not limited to consumer, mortgage, and business loans.
• Accepts all inbound phone calls to the department, makes payment arrangements, transfers payments, and researches past due loan problems. Sends accurate loan error corrections to the Loan Servicing Department.
• Attempts telephone contact with all past due members (including all co-makers) as presented on the predictive dialer.
• Provide the member with solutions to delinquency such as a payment plan to bring the loan current, refinance, modification, loan extension, rewrite, short sale, deed- in-lieu or other local programs that may assist them in bringing their loan current during their time of need.
• Send letters to all member(s) within established department guidelines.
• Ensures that all work (i.e., phone calls, promises to pay, updates, etc.) is thoroughly documented, using correct action and response codes on the day the action occurs, to maintain accurate records on past due accounts.

Credit Solutions Associate Requirements

• 1 to 2 years in a consumer debt collections or sales environment. Experience with Vehicle and Mortgage Collections and Loss Mitigation preferred

Credit Solutions Associate Compensation

• Starting Salary: $22.18 -$23.48/hour
