Job summary

U.S. Bank seeks a Credit Risk QA professional to join the CRA team. You will conduct independent reviews across HL T, SNC, and other risk areas, ensuring the alignment with policy and regulatory requirements while supporting process improvements.

Responsibilities include analyzing underwriting criteria across Wealth, Corporate, Commercial, Institutional, and Business Banking portfolios, and providing credible challenge and recommendations to strengthen risk management and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 6+ years of applicable experience preferred.
• Experience in commercial credit analysis and lending policies.
• Knowledge of C&I and CRE lending practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and credit systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and filter large data sets to establish testing populations.
• Document review activities in QA workpapers and reports.
• Collaborate with CRM Approval Officers to resolve inquiries and drive corrective action.
• Ensure adherence to QA methodologies and process requirements.
• Compile testing results and prepare reporting for senior management.
• Provide expertise to CRM Credit Approval and other stakeholders on risk matters.
• Participate in cross-training and knowledge sharing.
• Assess risk and credit quality within assigned portfolios.
