Job summary

First National Bank Of Pennsylvania offers a paid internship on the Credit Risk team. Interns assist in asset quality reporting, concentration analysis, allowance for credit loss, credit monitoring, stress testing, and data quality across bank-wide operations.

You will learn by doing, working with business leaders on various projects, and gaining exposure to regulatory compliance, finance, marketing, and accounting functions within the bank.

Qualifications

• Needs to be officially enrolled in an undergraduate bachelor program with a major in areas such as Finance, Accounting, Marketing or Information Technology

Responsibilities

• Learn aggressively: Be open to new ideas and concepts, ask questions and be intellectually curious.
• Opportunities are based on assigned department and may include organizational structures, business etiquette, interpersonal/conflict resolution/sales/negotiation skills, industry information, products and services and functional responsibilities for various Bank departments.
• Analyze: Improve the quality of decision making by doing appropriate and thorough analysis including pricing decisions, financial analysis, qualitative analysis, credit risk mitigation, identifying borrowing needs, project timelines and marketing plans.
• Communicate well: Deliver information in a clear, logical and effective manner in writing and orally; adapt style for one-on-one, small group and large-group settings.
• Display Teamwork: Work well with others to achieve goals; lead and follow with effectiveness; listen to learn and contribute in department projects.
• Get Results: Be accountable, manage risk, meet deadlines, and contribute to quality outputs across departments
