Job summary

You will own a portfolio with minimal guidance, escalate and resolve issues with other teams, and write loan modification memos under supervision while supporting internal reporting and data integrity in COF systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military experience required.
• At least 2 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting or financial modeling.
• Previous experience in banking, commercial finance or asset management.
• Formal training in credit risk management.
• Strong analytical and technology aptitude.
• Ability to communicate verbally in a concise and clear manner with clients, peers and fellow associates.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial and collateral analysis.
• Prepare reporting on performance trends, key indicators and industry-specific data.
• Monitor and enforce ongoing Borrower compliance with loan terms and documentation.
• Ensure Borrower compliance with financial and portfolio covenants and reporting requirements.
• Own a portfolio of existing customers with minimal guidance.
• Escalate and resolve problem accounts with other teams and specialists.
• Build relationships across functions and businesses.
• Complete annual reviews and non-material modifications independently and on time.
• Write and prepare loan modification documents and credit approval memos for existing clients, with supervision.
• Shadow senior underwriters reviewing and negotiating legal documentation.
• Review and approve periodic Borrowing Bases and advance requests.
• Facilitate internal and external portfolio reporting.
• Apply Bank policies and procedures and stay current on compliance regulations and changes.
• Ensure data integrity in COF commercial loan systems.
• Understand and promote bank products.
• Maintain and promote client relationships.
