Pay Range

The target annual pay range for this position is $125,700 - $153,600, with a full range of $97,400 - $181,800. Compensation decisions are based on skills, experience, and education. Offers will consider individual qualifications. Additional performance-based incentives are available, with targets varying by role.

Impact You’ll Make

As the Credit Risk Analysis Manager, you will oversee the health of our Auto & Other Secured lending portfolios, using your analytical skills to identify risks and opportunities. Your leadership will uphold strong governance, foster innovation, and shape credit risk frameworks, ensuring financial strength and enhancing member-focused lending experiences.

Residency Requirement: Candidates must reside in WA, OR, ID, AZ, TX, SC, or GA. WA residents near Tukwila HQ are encouraged to work onsite Tuesdays & Wednesdays. Others may work remotely, with engagement and inclusion priorities maintained.

What You’ll Do

  • Investigate & Validate Processes: Review risk management practices using data and team input.
  • Analyze Risk & Opportunities: Examine portfolio performance to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Monitor & Improve Strategy Effectiveness: Use statistical models to evaluate and enhance credit risk strategies.
  • Optimize Scorecard Usage: Refine scorecards used across various credit processes.
  • Communicate Insights: Present findings clearly to senior leadership for decision-making.
  • Present to Committees: Share risk updates and recommendations as needed.
  • Shape Risk Appetite: Collaborate with leaders to evolve risk strategies.
  • Drive Initiatives & Mentorship: Lead departmental projects and mentor junior staff.
  • Document Procedures & Manage Vendors: Keep documentation current and oversee vendor relationships.
  • Support Reporting & Audits: Ensure accurate reporting and audit readiness.
  • Promote Advocacy & Contribute Broadly: Engage in initiatives that support employees and members, taking on additional duties as required.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field.
  • At least 7 years of credit risk analytics experience.
  • Proficiency in SAS, SQL, Python, and presentation tools like Tableau or PowerBI.

Desired:

  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience in auto or secured credit risk analytics.
  • Financial industry experience and portfolio performance analysis skills.
  • Strong data collection, analysis, and team-building abilities.
  • Excellent project management skills.
