Job summary

Crescent Capital Group LP in Los Angeles is seeking a Credit Research Analyst to join our tradeable credit team. The Capital Markets Research Analyst will work with an established team focusing on below investment grade high yield bonds and leveraged loans in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.

You will develop investment frameworks, perform fundamental credit research, build financial models, and support relative value recommendations.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years in an alt asset manager with non-investment grade credit research.
Bachelor's degree; Master’s degree or CFA preferred.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and superior communication.
Exceptional relationship building and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

Act as subject matter expert and primary credit analyst for major subsectors.
Develop investment frameworks and analyze issuers with complex capital structures.
Provide fundamental credit research of cash flow and asset coverage; assess market value.
Develop financial models, conduct sensitivity analyses, and support relative value recommendations.
Monitor portfolios daily and publish industry overviews; advise buy/sell opportunities.
