Job summary

Stripe is seeking an experienced Credit Operations Analyst to join the Risk Operations team. You will execute operational processes, perform in-depth credit reviews, and collaborate with engineering, strategy, sales, and vendor management to scale risk programs.

The role requires a solid understanding of commercial credit principles and a minimum of four years in credit operations within payments/fintech. You will engage with a global team to minimize exposure while enabling growth.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience with credit principals.
• Experience leading risk related projects or initiatives.
• Ability to use data to propose creative solutions to problems.
• Strong problem solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with merchants from startups to established institutions.
• Complete in-depth credit reviews across merchant life cycles.
• Investigate escalations and provide timely responses across channels.
• Own operational processes like credit reviews and risk-related escalations.
• Identify risk factors and trends; report them to the risk team.
• Use analytics to optimize strategies across the portfolio.
• Maintain regular communication with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Identify gaps in systems and propose enhancements.
• Lead work streams on credit decisioning and accuracy.
