Stripe is seeking a Credit Operations Manager to lead a global team and drive scalable, high-quality operations. You will translate product strategies into operational capabilities, define risk controls, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to advance automation across Credit Operations.

You will guide hiring, set performance goals, and manage critical metrics while partnering with Risk leadership to optimize risk and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10–15 years in commercial credit underwriting.
• 3–5 years leading credit risk or underwriting teams in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with credit risk modeling or cash-flow forecasting.
• Proven ability to build and grow high-performance teams.
• Strong strategic thinking with ability to translate challenges into actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing Credit Operations team.
• Assess current and future capability needs and guide hiring and workforce planning.
• Set priorities aligned with risk strategy and translate into goals and plans.
• Evolve systems and processes to improve decision quality and scale operations.
• Support product launches by assessing credit impact and defining controls.
• Partner with leadership to prioritize risk mitigation and efficiency investments.
• Lead adoption of AI-enabled automation with proper controls.
