Members of the Finance organization at select locations will generally be expected to follow a hybrid work model, which includes two days of in-office attendance each week, with limited exceptions.

Meet the Team

Cisco's Global Credit & Risk Management team handles the extension of credit on behalf of Cisco. We support over $50B in revenue via our Trade & Channel programs and over $7B in term leases and loans via Cisco Capital. You will be partnering with team members within Cisco's Sales and Services Finance organization, Corporate Controller Group, Cisco and Cisco Capital Sales, Collections, Operations, and Legal.

Your Impact
  • As a Credit Manager at Cisco, you are accountable for underwriting, negotiating, and processing loan, leases, and net-30 financing transactions in accordance with policy. You will adjudicate financing requests and supervise the portfolio for a wide variety of customers, ranging from privately held to publicly traded companies in the Americas. This role offers the opportunity to advise on sophisticated transaction structuring and contract negotiations, balancing Cisco's enablement with stewardship of our risk appetite and balance sheet.

  • You have experience working with sophisticated credits and structures, demonstrating leadership and building cohesion within your team and partners.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of commercial credit or equivalent analytical experience
  • 3+ years experience with State, Local Government, and Education (SLED) financial requirements and non-appropriation risks.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting/Finance
  • Highly competent in accounting principles
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with customers, team members, and internal partners
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven trustworthiness with approval authorities and decision-making
  • Results-oriented self-starter capable of working independently and in teams
  • Willingness to lead or participate in innovation and optimization projects
