Job summary

Arrow Search Partners recruits a seasoned credit attorney for a global investment firm’s Legal & Compliance group. The role supports an expanding registered investment adviser business by advising on regulatory compliance, governance, and day-to-day fund operations.

The attorney will provide legal support on structuring, formation, and management of private and registered funds, while counseling on regulatory requirements under major acts and collaborating with internal and external counsel.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of legal experience either at a law firm or an in-house role.
• Proficiency in credit strategies and vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and the Investment Company Act of 1940.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support on the structuring, formation, and management of private and registered funds.
• Counsel internal stakeholders on regulatory requirements under the Investment Advisers Act, Investment Company Act of 1940, Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and related securities regulations
• Collaborate with the business development team on marketing material review and client requests
• Act as point of contact for external counsel
• Review and negotiate fund documentation
