Job summary

Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority - Mohegan Sun seeks a Credit Executive to review and approve new casino credit applicants and monitor existing lines, ensuring continued creditworthiness and adherence to Standards of Operation & Management.

You will evaluate credit reports, process limit increases up to $50,000, and coordinate with Marketing, Table Games, Slots, and Cashiering Operations to support accurate, compliant credit decisions.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Three years of casino experience with supervisory exposure or five years of credit experience outside the industry.
  • Strong computer skills in Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Review and approve new casino credit applications.
  • Evaluate existing patrons for permanent or temporary credit limit increases.
  • Review credit reports for approval in compliance with Standards of Operation & Management and department policies.
  • Act as a point of contact for Marketing, Table Games, Slots, Cashiering Operations and other Casino Credit departments.
  • Maintain credit maintenance and compliance on active credit files daily.

This includes evaluating existing credit patrons for permanent or temporary credit limit increases and the annual update of existing credit to confirm continued credit worthiness. Credit executives have the ability to approve or increase credit lines up to $50,000 or as outlined in the Credit department SOMs.Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:Evaluates existing credit patrons for permanent or temporary credit limit increases and the annual update of existing credit patrons to confirm continued credit worthinessReviews and interprets credit reports for approval or rejection of applicants in compliance with our Standards of Operation & Management and department policies and proceduresActs as a point of contact for the Marketing, Table Games, Slots, Cashiering Operations and other Casino Credit departmentsReviews daily reports for marker deposits, ratings and returned checks or marker issuesSecondary Duties and Responsibilities:Maintains credit maintenance and compliance on active credit files on a daily basisPrepares daily/weekend arrivals reports and event manifests to determine the customer’s credit availability, prior to arrivalMinimum Education and Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentThree years of casino experience with at least one year on the casino floor in a supervisory capacity or five years of credit experience outside of the industryStrong computer skills in Word and ExcelCompetencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:Excellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to read and interpret Consumer Credit Bureaus, Gaming Reports and Bank Verification reportsTraining Requirements:Knowledge of the ACSC Credit menus and DataMagine softwareMust complete and pass the Credit Executive Certification ProgramThorough knowledge of Standards of Operation & ManagementKnowledge of department policies and proceduresPhysical Demands and Work Environment:Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods of timeMust be able to work in a fast paced environment and be able to handle stressful situationsMust be able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as neededThis is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, requirements or working conditions associated with this job.
