Spanish speaking Credit Controller - Fixed Term Contract

Remotely based out of the UK or Spain, or Hub and Hybrid if local to Cambridge UK

We have a great opportunity for a Spanish Speaking Credit Controller to join our AR team based in Cambridge. This role is a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave, ideally starting in June/July 2025 until 30th November 2025. The role can be remote or in a Hub and Hybrid setup with the expectation of one day a week (Thursday) in the office to collaborate with the onsite team.

Why you:

To succeed in this role, you should have a solid background in Accounts Receivable, offering excellent service internally and externally. Experience with SAP software, strong relationship-building skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines are essential.

You will work with our Spanish-speaking customers to arrange payment of overdue accounts and collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth account management. Fluent Spanish and English skills are essential, and fluency in Italian is a plus.

The Role

As a professional credit controller, you will support the accounts receivable function by collecting debts, monitoring credit, and resolving customer disputes. This fast-paced role involves working to tight deadlines and KPIs.

Your tasks and responsibilities include:

• Contacting overdue customer accounts to arrange payment
• Reviewing customer credit status and recommending credit blocks
• Posting and allocating cash receipts
• Distributing customer statements and dunning letters
• Resolving account queries and disputes
• Supporting audit requests
• Reviewing customer-held orders
• Collaborating with customer service and sales to ensure high customer satisfaction
