Credit & Collections Specialist

We are seeking a motivated Credit & Collections Specialist to join our team. This role will focus heavily on collections while maintaining strong customer relationships, requiring someone with excellent communication skills who can be both persistent and professional.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable, including reconciling accounts and applying payments to invoices
• Handle outbound and inbound collection calls, working with customers and the sales team to resolve outstanding balances
• Maintain a customer-focused approach while driving successful collection outcomes
• Review and analyze accounts, ensuring timely and accurate application of payments
• Assist with reporting and account tracking using Excel (VLOOKUPs required)
• Collaborate with team members and adapt to established processes and procedures

Qualifications

• Prior credit/collections and accounts receivable experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to build rapport while resolving issues
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs required)
• Experience with SAP is a strong plus
• Team-oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn
