What You'll Do

Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will drive our growth. You will collaborate with the Technology Banking team and clients to underwrite and monitor loans, assist Relationship Managers and Credit Officers with credit recommendations, and prepare credit presentations through research, analysis, and coordination of financial documentation.

Responsibilities Include

• Underwrite new business transactions across Grasshopper’s financing solutions.
• Review and analyze prospective client performance and debt needs, coordinating with the credit team to assess credit strength.
• Build relationships with borrowers, Relationship Managers, and clients inside and outside the bank.
• Monitor borrower performance, identify deviations from covenants, and raise concerns proactively.
• Conduct financial analysis of credits and collateral, focusing on trends and forecasts.
• Test financial covenants and risk assessments as per agreements.
• Use bank systems to input data, analyze financials, and generate reports.
• Communicate with clients and internal teams to resolve loan issues.

What You Need

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant banking experience.
• Experience analyzing Fund and Sponsor Banking deals; underwriting C&I credits is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills for all organizational levels and external contacts.
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and handle fast-paced environments.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in transactions.
• Strong analytical skills, including financial statement analysis.
