Job summary

Ace Hardware Corporation is seeking a Credit Analyst to perform advanced financial statement analysis, underwriting of retailer loans, and risk mitigation for a multi‑million‑dollar portfolio of store accounts. You will collaborate with Credit and Operations teams across the country in a flexible, modern facility.

The role requires strong financial analysis, credit risk assessment, and experience with ERP systems like SAP. A four-year business degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements.
• Experience managing a portfolio of retailer credit accounts and setting credit limits.
• Self-motivated, well-organized, able to work with limited supervision under deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and decision new Member Applications within authority and territory.
• Underwrite loan applications within territory.
• Determine credit limits within authority and territory.
• Disposition blocked retailer orders per retailer risk profile.
• Establish payment plans to resolve past due balances.
