Job summary

Primex Plastics Corporation is seeking a Credit Analyst for its Corporate Office in Richmond, IN. This in-office, day-shift role reports to the Credit Manager and focuses on analyzing customer financial conditions and authorizing appropriate credit limits.

The position involves minimizing bad debt risk, assisting with order management, reconciling statements, and enforcing payment policies. A bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of work experience in accounting, credit analysis, or related manufacturing support.
• Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
• Microsoft AX experience helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess credit risk and establish credit limits.
• Analyze customer credit information, including financial statements if provided.
• Support order management to control credit exposure and timely payment.
• Perform collection calls and resolve customer disputes.
• Maintain credit files and communicate policy to staff.
• Collaborate on cross-functional projects to improve processes.
