Job summary

Banner Bank in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Credit Analyst to help make sound lending decisions for commercial clients. You will analyze financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, collateral, and repayment sources to prepare support for loan decisions.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of credit or financial analysis experience, plus strong analytical skills and proficiency with Excel and Word.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
• Two or more years of credit or financial analysis experience is required.
• Strong analytical thinking and sound judgment are essential.
• Ability to manage high volumes of work accurately while meeting deadlines.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and other applicable systems is expected.

Responsibilities

• Investigate credit and financial information for prospective and existing commercial clients.
• Analyze business and personal financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, collateral, and sources of repayment.
• Prepare credit approval packages, spreadsheets, summaries, and written analyses for loan decision makers.
• Support new, renewed, and existing loan requests ranging from simple to moderately complex.
• Ensure all work complies with internal policies, procedures, security requirements, and applicable regulations.

In this role you'll

What we're looking for

• An equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
• You bring two or more years of related credit or financial analysis experience (Required).

• Targeted starting salary range (based on experience): $30.34- 39.98
