Job description

More than 135 years ago, we started with core values that never go out of style: listen, learn and help businesses and individuals reach their goals. These core values shape our culture, and we were recently Great Place to Work Certified because of our outstanding workplace culture and employee experience. As well, our financial strength and stability are key reasons Forbes named us one of the Best 100 Banks in America for the ninth consecutive year.

With more than $16 billion in assets and 135 branch locations throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and California, we understand our role in the economy and take that responsibility seriously. In addition to offering a source of capital to personal banking clients and businesses of all sizes, we place a high importance on employee volunteerism and donate millions of dollars each year to community organizations.

Are you passionate about analyzing complex credit relationships and helping businesses grow? As a Community Financial Corporation Portfolio Manager I, you'll play a key role in supporting commercial lending by evaluating credit opportunities, preparing recommendations, and partnering with decision makers to manage risk and drive successful outcomes.

This is an opportunity to leverage your financial and analytical expertise while working collaboratively with a team dedicated to serving our clients and communities with integrity, accountability, and trust.

In this role you'll
  • Investigate credit and financial information for prospective and existing clients.
  • Analyze financial statements for new, renewed, and existing loan relationships.
  • Prepare spreadsheets, credit approval packages, summaries, and recommendations for complex commercial credits, including construction, lot/land acquisition, and land development loans.
  • Independently assess complex credit relationships and develop credit proposals with minimal guidance.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Community Financial Corporation credit-related matters.
  • Maintain and oversee financial files to ensure accurate reporting, financial statements, and accounts receivable information.
  • Monitor existing accounts and track payment performance.
  • Assist with establishing and maintaining lien perfection for various forms of collateral.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, security requirements, and applicable government regulations.
