Job summary

CoBank is offering a 10-week Credit Analyst Internship in Sacramento, CA. Interns will analyze financial statements and engage in portfolio management tasks while completing a capstone project with mentorship from experienced bankers.

Eligibility requires students pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, agribusiness, or related field, with strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field with good academic standing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Interest in banking, agribusiness, or financial services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze balance sheets, cash flows, profitability, liquidity and solvency for commercial credit reports.
• Engage in a range of portfolio management tasks, including compliance, finance, legal and closing activities.
• Complete a capstone summer project involving industry research, portfolio analysis, market snapshots or economic outlooks.
• Engage in hands-on training and mentorship within the Regional Agribusiness Banking Group (RABG).
