Job summary
NBT Bank in Lakeville, CT is seeking a Commercial Credit Analyst to complete due diligence and analyze borrower industry and financial information. You will prepare spreads, write analysis, and assemble underwriting exhibits to support lending decisions for C&I and CRE clients.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (or equivalent) and 2+ years of relevant credit experience; familiarity with loan documentation, loan policy, and spreading software; strong communication
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred; or equivalent education with 2+ years experience.
- Experience as Commercial Credit Analyst or similar credit/underwriting role in financial services.
- RMA courses are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Prepare analytical memorandums on customers and financing structures.
- Analyze financial statements, produce spreads and cash flows, handle modifications and waivers.
- Assist with annual reviews for larger exposures and participate in client calls as needed.
