Position consists of gathering, analyzing and interpreting credit information for existing and prospective customers in order to assess credit quality and to minimize risk and potential loss. The focus of this role will be agricultural credits, but the candidate will be expected to look at some commercial credits from time to time as the need arises.Core CompetenciesAttention to DetailAdministrative DutiesAnalytical and Critical ThinkingStrong Communication SkillsTime ManagementReporting Relations:Accountable and Reports to: Senior Credit OfficerPositions that Report to you: NonePrimary Duties and Responsibilities:Analyze, evaluate and assess financial statements and other related data/information including projections, sensitivity analysis, cash flow, collateral, loan relationships, problem credits, etc. to determine credit worthiness per loan policy.Assist in obtaining information from customers and preparing loan presentations to lender and/or assist with presentation to loan committee.Identify risks and make recommendations to lenders regarding findings and working with customers, issues, data, etc.Evaluate and monitor ag sector, livestock and commodity market trends, economic risks, and other related factors to make recommendations to lender and/or loan committee including ways to improve risk management processesPrepare and present basic credit write-ups and assist in complex credits.
