Job summary

TruStone Financial Credit Union in Minnesota is seeking a Commercial Loan Analyst to support loan presentations, annual reviews, and analytical evaluations. You will input financial data into loan origination software, prepare questions, and assist in ensuring documentation and file content comply with policy and regulatory requirements.

The role also involves collecting information from members, supporting site visits, and maintaining BSA/AML compliance while working at the Burnsville

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related work experience in Business/Accounting/Finance.
• 2+ years in accounting/finance or financial institution.
• 2+ years in a business lending environment preferred.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Collaborate with the Assistant Commercial Credit Manager, the VP/Commercial Credit Manager and Commercial Loan Officers on the preparation of loan presentations, annual loan reviews, problem loan worksheets and analytical evaluations. Input collected financial information into Loan Origination Software. Prepare questions based on analytical review of financial information and may accompany Commercial Loan Officers on member business calls to gather pertinent information for the completion of reviews. Prepare risk rating worksheets, loan upgrades/downgrades and assist the VP/Commercial Credit Manager in assuring loan presentations, documentation, and file content is consistent and meets regulatory and credit union loan policy and procedural requirements. Request information from members, as needed, to assist in maintaining the integrity of legal and technical financial requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

Availability to work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm at our Burnsville Administrative Office location; exempt.

In addition:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Accounting or Finance, or equivalent related work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, finance or a financial institution related position.
• 2+ years of experience in a business lending environment, preferred.
• PC skills including a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while displaying initiative and decision making skills.
• Ability for local travel that may be necessary in order to conduct site visits.
• Maintains awareness of enterprise compliance requirements, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA/AML) obligations, and follows internal policies and escalation protocols as applicable.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and various background checks.
• Regular and reliable attendance at the workplace.

The salary range for this position is $73,500.00 to $91,000.00 per year. In addition, we offer:
