PlainsCapital Bank is seeking entry-level Credit Analyst candidates for its Banker Development Program in Texas. Join a structured, post-graduate accelerator designed to prepare you for long‑term careers in commercial banking and credit analysis.

You will evaluate financial health, collaborate with relationship managers, and support lending decisions while progressing toward future roles in relationship or portfolio management.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business related field required; strong preference for Finance or Accounting major.
• Experience in financial, credit, or statistical analysis is preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong PC skills, including Word and Excel, and familiarity with corporate systems.
• Analytical, time-management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Must attend initial training in Dallas, TX for about four weeks; some travel for subsequent training.

Responsabilités

• Analyzes financial statements and performance to develop an initial credit assessment highlighting strengths and risks.
• Prepares written analyses covering borrower and guarantors, economic conditions, cash flow, and collateral.
• Gathers data from diverse sources to understand industry trends and credit risk.
• Attends loan committee meetings and supports credit decision-making.
• Coordinates appraisals and collateral analysis with third-party vendors.
