Job summary

Shamrock Foods Company is seeking a Credit Analyst Level I to manage delinquent accounts within an assigned customer portfolio. You will review aging reports, prioritize calls, and maintain delinquency spreadsheets, aiming for timely resolution and reduced risk.

In this role you will contact customers, document interactions, and keep sales teams informed of outstanding balances while adhering to established credit policies. Strong attention to detail and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of accounting experience, preferably in a distribution business.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Some college coursework in business or accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review weekly accounts receivable aging reports to prioritize collection calls.
• Make 20–30 collection calls per day to customers with past due balances.
• Maintain weekly COD warning and delinquent customer notification spreadsheets.
• Inform sales representatives about delinquent customers in their territory.
• Follow credit policies and procedures for delinquent accounts.

Job description

This position is responsible for conducting activities resulting in the timely collection or resolution of delinquent balances within an assigned portfolio of customers’ accounts receivable is the core of the role performed by the Credit Analyst Level I.

• Reviewing weekly accounts receivable aging reports to prioritize collection calls
• Calling customers with past due balances, averaging 20-30 calls per day
• Maintaining weekly COD warning and delinquent customer notification spreadsheet
• Keeping sales representative informed regarding any delinquent customers within their territory
• Understanding and adhering to the credit policies and procedures in the collection and reporting of delinquent accounts
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performing other duties as assigned to meet business needs

Qualifications:

• A High school diploma/GED
• A minimum of two years of accounting experience, preferably within a distribution business.
• Some college courses in business or accounting preferred
