Job summary

PropTechBuzz in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Analyst to produce analyses on rent rolls, leasing activity and operating performance, supporting informed lending and management decisions.

The role requires at least 3 years in CRE analysis for a financial institution, strong written CRE analysis skills, and expert Excel/Word proficiency. Moody’s Risk Analyst or IBS Insight experience is a plus, with a focus on accuracy and clear reporting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate analysis for a financial institution.
• Experience in written CRE analysis focusing on operating performance and rent rolls.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word; familiarity with Moody’s Risk Analyst/IBS Insight/OnBase/BankerInsight is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Produce analysis on commercial real estate properties, including rent rolls, leasing activity and operating performance (historical and projections).
• Research and present information on CRE markets, comparable properties, public records, and business entity/individual info.
• Analyze entities/individuals to assess financial condition for debt service or rent payment capability.
• Assist loan officers in completing reports used by Senior Management for monitoring and decisions.
• Complete forms/reports to request external appraisals/environmental assessments and address internal issues.
• Contact bank customers to gather information or follow up on required items.
• Handle various special projects from loan officers and senior management.

Job description

The responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

• Producing analysis on Commercial Real Estate properties including: rent rolls, leasing activity, and operating performance (historical and projections)
• Research and present information on the following areas: Commercial Real Estate Markets, Comparable Properties, Public Real Estate Records, and Public information on Business Entities and Individual.
• Perform analysis of business entities and individuals to assess their financial condition with a focus on their ability to service their debt and/or pay rent
• Assisting Loan Officers in completing reports used by Senior Management in the monitoring and decision making processes
• Completing various forms and reports to request external reports (appraisals, environmental assessments) and address internal issues
• Contacting bank customers to gather information and/or follow-up on required items
• Various special projects from Loan Officers and Senior Management

Position Requirements

• Professional experience with a financial institution in Commercial Real Estate analysis for at least 3 years
• Experience in written analysis on Commercial Real Estate properties, with a focus on operating performance and rent rolls
• Computer: Proficient with Microsoft Office software, especially Excel and Word. Experience with any of the following a bonus: Moody’s Risk Analyst, Fidelity Information Services’ IBS Insight, Hyland Software’s OnBase and Metavante’s BankerInsight
