Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business highly preferred.
• For Credit Analyst I: 1-2 years of experience; II: 3+ years; Senior: 5+ years.
• Commercial collections and/or credit review experience from a mid or large company.
• Experience with electronic billing portals.
• Intermediate Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, power queries).

Responsibilities

• Perform credit assessment and overall accounts receivable management.
• Evaluate basic credit inquiries.
• Prepare and submit account adjustments to cash applications team.
• Generate account statements and provide billing backup as requested.
• Identify billing or collection issues that require escalation.
• Recommend credit limits for currently assigned accounts.
• Ensure optimal cash flow by continued positive contact with customers.
• Identify delinquency drivers and achieve resolution.

Our client, a Northwest Houston area oilfield services company, is hiring for Credit Analysts on a direct hire basis. There are openings at the Credit Analyst I, Credit Analyst II, and Senior Credit Analyst levels. This position is for a large organization with a lot of opportunity for growth and advancement. The Credit Analyst will be responsible for performing all credit and collections functions associated with high volume account portfolio in accordance with credit department goals and objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform tasks related to credit assessment and overall accounts receivable management
• Ability to evaluate basic credit inquiries
• Prepare and submit account adjustments to cash applications team
• Generate account statements and provide billing backup as requested
• Identify billing or collection issues that require escalation
• Recommend credit limits for currently assigned accounts
• Ensure optimal cash flow by continued positive contact and relationship building
• Ability to identify account delinquency drivers and achieve resolution.

Requirements:

For Credit Analyst 1, 1-2 years of experience required. For Credit Analyst II, 3+ years of experience required. For Senior Credit Analyst, 5+ years of experience required.

Salary:

Salary range from $52K-66K + quarterly bonus plan (very lucrative bonus plan!)
