Job summary

BayView Industries of Green Bay Inc. is seeking a Credit Analyst to join the credit department. You will manage assigned accounts, maintain customer credit records, and ensure timely payments while upholding professionalism and strong interpersonal skills.

You will assist the Manager of Credit with approval/denial recommendations, review applications, establish credit lines, and perform financial analyses including third-party reports. Collaboration with AR and Invoicing is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in finance or related field.
• 2-5 years accounts receivable, finance and/or credit experience.
• Strong customer orientation and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and problem analysis abilities.
• Ability to plan and manage multiple projects with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of assigned accounts within the credit department.
• Maintain records of customers who buy on credit or installments.
• Assist Manager of Credit with recommendations on application approvals/denials.
• Review credit applications and establish lines of credit.
• Perform financial analysis including third-party reports.
• Coordinate with Accounts Receivable and Invoicing teams and ensure proper follow-up.

BayView Industries of Green Bay Inc. is actively looking for a Credit Analyst to work in our credit department. The right person will manage all aspects of managing assigned accounts. They will also maintain records of assigned customers who take goods and services on credit or on an installment basis and ensure that the company receives dues timely. Must establish and maintain effective work relationships with new and existing customers through a high degree of professionalism and excellent interpersonal/communication skills.

Must be able to assist the Manager of Credit with recommendations on credit application approval/denial based on research and analysis.

• Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Reviews credit application
• Establishes lines of credit
• Conducts financial analysis including 3rd party report review
• Makes recommendations to the Manager of Credit.
• Prioritizes credit reviews for existing accounts
• Contacts customer and sales department
• Process & Maintain lien rights on customers in the divisions assigned.
• Coordinate activities With Internal departments, such as Accounts Receivable and Invoicing
• Ensures proper follow-up
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned

Education and Experience:

• Associate's degree in finance or related field
• 2-5 years accounts receivable, finance and/or credit experience
• Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Technical skills in account reconciliation, credit extensions, payment plans, etc.
• Planning and organization: an ability to plan and manage multiple projects.
