Job summary

Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to manage provider credentialing across government and commercial payers in southeast Ohio. You will maintain provider files, update CAQH/NPPES/PECOS records, and ensure timely recredentialing and enrollment with insurers.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, valid driver’s license, and familiarity with EHR systems.

Qualifications

• 1 year of credentialing experience in Ohio Behavioral Health Medicaid
• 3 years of experience using an electronic health record system to process claims
• Broad knowledge of community service systems
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain individual provider files with up‑to‑date information for government and commercial payer credentialing applications
• Manage CAQH, PECOS, NPPES, CMS portals and logins
• Update CAQH files for provider re‑credentialing according to CMS/Medicare/Medicaid schedules
• Prepare new provider NPI applications and terminate enrollment when needed
• Coordinate, monitor and maintain credentialing, recredentialing and contracting with insurers
