Oklahoma State University is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to work closely with the Clinic Outreach and Credentialing Administrator to credential new providers and manage renewals. This role requires strong analytical skills and a minimum of three years of experience in multi-specialty provider credentialing, particularly with governmental insurance.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and organizational skills, work independently, and be a team player. The position offers a hiring range of $18.60 - $21.00 hourly.

This role will work closely with theClinic Outreach and Credentialing Administratorwith the aim of credentialing of new providers and renewals for existing providers with Governmental insurers– Medicaid & the 3 MCO’s. Position will also work with clinic administrators andtheClinic Outreach and Credentialing Administratorto support the needs of clinicsfor renewals.The CredentialingSpecialistwill also work withdepartment leadershipinhelping to addresscredentialing needs, respond to physicians,staffand supervisors.Update SSI and Availity with the new provider andclinicsinformation. Work closely with the 3 MCO’s andsubmitthem weekly rosters. Work with the NPI registry for all termedand newphysiciansand groups. Other duties as assigned. Must be a team player.
