Job summary

Sunbelt Healthcare is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to manage initial credentialing and enrollment for providers across specialties. The role includes maintaining licenses, certifications, privileges, and contract specs, with collaboration with practice managers.

Hybrid work with in-person option in Tucson, AZ; day shift, full-time. Prior PSV and credentialing experience preferred; strong communication with insurers and providers is essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year PSV preferred.
• Minimum 1 year medical provider credentialing.

Responsibilities

Description

The Credentialing Specialist position requires an organized individual with good time management skills and related industry experience, (both facility and clinic credentialing / privileging). The Credentialing Specialist will be responsible for the initial credentialing and enrollment of providers for a variety of specialties. Additionally, maintenance of licenses, certifications, privileges, malpractice coverage, and contract specifications (addresses, re-validations, etc.) will be monitored and administrated by the Credentialing Specialist. The Credentialing Specialist is also required to notify providers and work with practice / office managers to facilitate completion of tasks. Professionalism in communication with clients, insurers, and industry contacts is a key component of this position. Duties can vary daily but are expected to be performed within a set period as determined by management. This position may also support our in-house Contracting Team by taking on overflow.

Requirements

Experience:

• Primary Source Verification (PSV): 1 year (Preferred)
• Medical Provider Credentialing: 1 year minimum (Required)
