Position Summary
Responsible for ensuring all Providers and Facilities are credentialed.
Qualifications and Requirements
1. Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
2. Experience Requirements
- Minimum two years clerical or administrative experience
- Prefer experience working for a non-profit organization
3. Special Skills or Training
- Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication skills
- Ability to perform mathematical functions
- Ability to evaluate and interpret information and make independent decisions
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and cooperatively with others
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office software suite
- Typing/word processing skills at 50 WPM
- Knowledge of general office machines and telephone systems
- Ability to maintain a high degree of discretion in dealing with confidential information
- Ability and willingness to work as schedule dictates
- Positive attitude toward the elderly and coworkers
4. Physical Requirements
- Ability to reach above shoulder height, push/pull, grasp, fine hand coordination, bend, sit, stand, walk
- Able to lift and carry 10 lbs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit Provider Payer Enrollment; All Payer Revalidation Annually and Medicare Revalidation for the Providers.
- Prepare appropriate paperwork, attend and take minutes for monthly board meetings and other meetings as requested.
- Maintains and updates contracts with insurance companies.
- Distribute incoming and prepare outgoing mail daily.
- Monitor and maintain supplies for mailroom copier and arrange for service as needed.
- Complete surveys including compliance with State and Federal agencies.
- Maintain contact information for board members and act as liaison between staff and board members as directed.
- Plan and prepare for events as requested, such as the MBH Annual Meeting.
- Order and stock the vending machine.
- Assist in registration of facility and/or staff for conferences/training and in arranging accommodations as requested.
- Acknowledge staff birthdays and other life events as per policy.
- Maintain Resident, Patient, Employee, and Facility Confidentiality.
- Know and comply with Residents' Rights rules.
- Treat Residents, Patients, Visitors and Co-workers with kindness, dignity and respect at all times.
- Attend and participate in orientation, training, mandatory education, in-services, staff meetings and education courses as instructed to further improve knowledge and skills.
- Promote teamwork; encourage others to work to the best of their ability.
