Job summary

Allevio is seeking a detail-oriented Credentialing Specialist to verify healthcare professionals’ credentials, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain accurate records, including DEA, state licensing, and malpractice enrollment/ renewals.

You will collaborate across teams, communicate with providers and payers, support audits, and help drive credentialing quality improvements in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in medical credentialing within a healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Credentialing Specialist to join our team. The Credentialing Specialist will be responsible for verifying healthcare professionals’ credentials, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with DEA, state licensing, and malpractice insurance enrollment and/or renewals.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements

Requirements & Qualifications Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience in medical credentialing within a healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in using credentialing software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred

• Prior experience with DEA, state licensing, and malpractice insurance enrollment or renewals
