Qualifications

• 5–9 years of experience in payer enrollment, credentialing, provider operations, healthcare operations, or related field.
• Credentialing domain depth across enrollment, onboarding, monitoring, or delegated credentialing.
• Demonstrated people-leadership experience including setting priorities and developing team members.
• Owned complex operational programs with strict quality, compliance, and deadlines.
• Experience using metrics to manage capacity, throughput, quality, timeliness and risk.
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to simplify regulatory issues for different audiences.
• Tech-savvy with process-improvement through tooling or partnerships with Product/Engineering.
• Flexible, adaptable, and effective in fast-changing conditions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a pod of Credentialing/Enrollments Associates, setting priorities and deadlines.
• Direct virtual-assistant capacity supporting the pod with training, QA, and performance monitoring.
• Own end-to-end credentialing programs including payer enrollments and delegated credentialing operations.
• Build and maintain SOPs, cadence schedules, quality controls, and audit-ready records.
• Use metrics to monitor capacity, throughput, quality, and risks; propose improvement plans.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Payer Ops, Finance, and Clinical Ops to design scalable workflows.

About the Role

Reporting directly to our Credentialing Manager, the Credentialing / Enrollments Lead will own day-to-day execution for our New Bets Credentialing or Enrollments pod. We’re hiring for a number of roles and will make sure we match you with the best fit opportunity. You will translate credentialing or enrollments strategy into a clear operating plan, and oversee the virtual-assistant capacity supporting your workflows.

This role is critical to scaling Nourish’s provider network as we add payers, providers, provider types, and delegated arrangements. You will maintain a high bar for quality and compliance, ensure new-provider workflows do not become a growth bottleneck, and build the systems, team capabilities, and operating rhythms needed to support rapid growth toward 25,000+ providers.

This role is full-time and open to fully remote or NYC-based candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and support a pod of New Bets Credentialing or Enrollments Associates or Senior Associates, setting priorities, clarifying ownership and deadlines, reviewing work quality, giving feedback, and holding the team accountable for outcomes.
• Direct virtual-assistant capacity supporting the pod, including work allocation, training, quality assurance, and performance monitoring.
• Own complex credentialing programs end to end, including payer enrollments, workflows for credentialing Medical Doctors, Nurse Practitioners and Therapists, ongoing monitoring, and delegated credentialing operations.
• Build and maintain clear SOPs, operating cadences, quality controls, documentation standards, escalation paths, and audit-ready records.
• Use metrics to manage capacity, throughput, timeliness, quality, provider experience, and execution risk; identify gaps early and lead practical improvement plans.
• Investigate ambiguous payer, provider, or operational issues using data and primary sources; make sound tradeoffs across speed, compliance, provider experience, business impact, and cost.
• Design scalable workflows and recommend tooling, automation, and ownership improvements in partnership with Product, Engineering, Payer Ops, Finance, RCM, Clinical Ops, and Customer Experience.
• Serve as the day-to-day escalation point for the area you own, resolving blockers independently and escalating material risks with clear recommendations.
• Communicate decisions, owners, deadlines, risks, and next steps clearly to team members, leaders, payers, providers, and cross-functional partners.
• Build team capability by coaching associates into stronger owners and future leaders while ensuring reliable delivery against goals.

We’d love to hear from you if:

• You have approximately 5–9 years of experience in payer enrollment, credentialing, provider operations, healthcare operations, or a closely related field for Registered Dietitians
• You have meaningful credentialing domain depth across payer enrollment, provider onboarding, ongoing monitoring, delegated credentialing, accreditation, or related workflows.
• You have demonstrated people-leadership experience, including setting priorities, directing work, giving feedback, managing performance, and developing team members.
• You have owned complex operational programs with rigorous quality, compliance, documentation, and deadline requirements.
• You use metrics to manage capacity, throughput, quality, timeliness, and execution risk.
• You are a strong written and verbal communicator who can simplify complex operational or regulatory issues for different audiences.
• You are tech-savvy and have experience improving processes through tooling, automation, or partnership with Product and Engineering.
• You are flexible, adaptable, and effective in fast-changing conditions.
