JOB DESCRIPTION
Day-to-Day Activities: • Start the day by checking the Credentialing inbox in Zendesk and addressing any urgent tickets. • Respond to providers and recruiters, processing requests for information and managing re-credentialing tickets. • Monitor CredentialStream for any expirable items that need action and address those not auto-verified by the system. • Conduct re-credentialing activities, including sending out emails and making phone calls to providers whose re-credentialing is due soon. • Track and manage administrative tasks related to re-credentialing. • Ensure all communications and actions are properly tagged and documented in Zendesk. • Maintain a high level of organization and efficiency to handle the high volume of tasks and communications. Responsibilities: • Manage Credentialing Inbox in Zendesk: • Handle term hold tickets. • Respond to providers and recruiters. • Process requests for information. • Manage re-credentialing tickets. • Action Expirable Items in CredentialStream (CS): • Address items not auto-verified by CS. • Continuously monitor CredentialStream. • Conduct Re-credentialing: • Execute email and call campaigns for re-credentialing phone calls near the due date. • Track re-credentialing administrative tasks.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Must Haves: • Credentialing Background: • Experience with process-heavy tasks. • Proficiency in provider verification, handling expired licenses, and documentation. • Familiarity with re-credentialing processes for providers within a 3-year cycle. • Communication Skills: • Proficient and well-spoken. • Skilled in making phone calls to providers regarding missing documentation. • Technical Skills: • Expertise in using Zendesk for communication with providers. • Experience with digital credentialing tools. • Ability to handle a high volume of tickets (100+ per day) and align with tagging items. • Healthcare Experience: • Experience in a high-volume healthcare environment.
