Job summary

Herbst Veterinary Hospital in Boerne, TX is seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join a dedicated medical team delivering high‑level care for small animals and farm calls.

You will administer treatments, monitor anesthesia, perform diagnostics and lab work, while mentoring teammates and supporting workflow in a fast-paced environment. AVMA‑accredited program graduate and active state license preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
• Current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
• One year of experience in veterinary industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care including treatments and monitoring.
• Administer anesthesia and assist in surgeries as needed.
• Perform lab work, radiology, and dental procedures.
• Educate and mentor team members while maintaining workflow.
