Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist veterinarians with routine appointments, surgeries, and patient care.
  • Collect and process diagnostic samples, administer medications, and prepare for surgeries.
  • Record detailed patient histories and manage pharmaceutical inventories.
  • Take and interpret radiographs, including dental X-rays, and perform ultrasonic dental cleanings.
  • Monitor general anesthesia, dress wounds, and assist with procedures like catheterization and ear flushes.
  • Maintain and sterilize surgical instruments, equipment, and treatment areas.
  • Educate clients on preventive care, dental hygiene, nutrition, and more.
  • Collaborate with the team to create a positive work environment and assist with onboarding new employees.
  • Champion the company brand by promoting services like grooming, daycare, and retail offerings.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Licensure Required: Veterinary Technician licensure in this state
  • Experience: 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred.
  • Client-Centric Focus: Strong communication skills and a passion for building lasting relationships.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 20+ lbs. and work in a fast-paced, sometimes emotionally demanding environment.
  • Technological Savvy: Interest in using technology to improve veterinary care and client experience.
  • Certifications (Preferred): Fear Free and HABRI certification or a willingness to achieve them.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Highly adaptable and enthusiastic about team-based patient care.
