East Riverside Veterinary Hospital, LLC in New Orleans, LA, seeks a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our seven-doctor team and deliver high-quality, compassionate care across general and specialty areas.

You will support anesthesia, nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology and lab work; mentor teammates, educate clients, and help maintain our patient-centered culture in a busy, community-focused practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
• A current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
• Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
• A calm and efficient approach, especially in fast-paced or stressful situations.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for working collaboratively.
• One year of experience in the veterinary industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care, including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing lab work.
• Lead and mentor the medical team, ensuring an efficient workflow and developing others.
• Educate clients on treatments and review medical records.
• Maintain high hospital standards and contribute to a positive culture.
