Qualifications

AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program is required.
Current state veterinary technician license in good standing is required.
Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and lab procedures.
Calm and efficient in fast-paced or stressful situations.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
One year of veterinary industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive patient care including administering treatments and monitoring anesthesia.
Perform lab work and radiology procedures.
Mentor and lead members of the medical team to ensure efficient workflow.
Educate clients on treatments and review medical records with pet owners.
