Job summary

Howland Community Animal Hospital in Warren, OH, part of Mission Pet Health, seeks a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our small-animal focused team. You will provide care, monitor anesthesia, and perform diagnostics, with access to internal specialty consultations and a supportive network.

Qualifications

Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
Current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
Calm and efficient under pressure.
Strong communication and collaborative teamwork.
One year of veterinary industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive patient care and monitor anesthesia.
Support medical team and mentor colleagues.
Educate clients on treatments and review medical records.
Maintain high standards of hospital operations and patient safety.
