Department: West Union Family Health Center
Shift/Schedule: Full Time (36 hrs/wk), Urgent Care
Works under the supervision of the Office Manager, Operations Manager, Office Supervisor, and/or Family Health Center Manager. The Credentialed Medical Assistant's primary role is to assist providers with patient exams, including collecting vitals, documenting medical histories, managing prescriptions, operating medical equipment, and providing patient education. Also responsible for ordering medical supplies and performing other duties as assigned.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Licensure:
Credentialed Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, AMCA) required.
BLS certification within 90 days of hire required.
Experience:
Minimum of one month of on-the-job training preferred.
