A creative fabrication studio is searching for a skilled Welder / Metal Fabricator in Arlington, TX. Ideal candidates will have experience with MIG welding, strong fabrication skills with steel and aluminum, and a solid understanding of structural integrity. Qualifications

• Experience with MIG welding required; TIG experience is a plus.
• Ability to fabricate with both steel and aluminum.
• Strong understanding of measurements, layout, and structural integrity.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate metal structures and supports for props and installations.
• Read and work from shop drawings, sketches, and fabrication plans.
• Cut, grind, prep, and finish metal components.
• Collaborate with carpenters, sculptors, and painters to complete builds.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Assist with general warehouse tasks and installation prep as needed.
• Travel occasionally for on-site installations.
