Job summary

Penn State is seeking a full-time Videographer/Editor A to realize the creative vision of video and audio projects, including regional/national broadcasts and documentaries. You will set up and operate recording, lighting, and audio equipment, and coordinate with supervisors to enhance video content.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience and includes benefits such as a generous tuition discount for employees and dependents. On-site work with university vehicles is possible.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of applied training or education.
• Over 1 year up to and including 3 years of effective experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate video and audio production equipment in studio and on location.
• Edit video and audio materials to meet project specifications.
• Organize raw footage and prepare edit decision lists for editors.
• Coordinate and provide supervisor with production materials (music cuts, graphics, stills).
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and report issues promptly.
• Log and archive media according to data management guidelines.
