Job summary

E-gineering Inc. is seeking a Sr. Principal Creative Technologist to lead hands-on development of AI-enabled products, internal tools, and scalable infrastructure. You will drive prototypes to production, shaping enterprise AI standards across design and engineering teams.

The role requires deep experience with LLMs, AI tooling, and building robust integrations within a modern front-end and MCP stack. You will mentor peers and influence senior stakeholders on strategic technology choices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years as a Creative Technologist, Design Technologist, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI APIs, and agentic workflows.
• Experience building or integrating MCP servers, agent tooling, API gateways, or comparable infrastructure.
• Strong Git/GitHub engineering and CI/CD experience.
• Experience building internal tools, automations, APIs, plugins, and integrations.
• Strong design sensibility and ability to translate designs into pixel-accurate applications.
• Ability to operate independently as the primary engineer while influencing senior stakeholders.
• Experience establishing technical frameworks or standards adopted across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and ship AI-enabled products and internal tools within rapid MVP cycles.
• Architect and integrate MCP servers, agent tooling, LLM APIs, and AI workflows within the enterprise AI infrastructure.
• Develop integrations and automations across design and collaboration platforms, including Figma APIs/plugins.
• Establish engineering standards for GitHub repositories, branching, permissions, CI, versioning, templates, and documentation.
• Create content models, metadata schemas, and governance frameworks that support AI consumption, trust, and provenance.
• Build integrations within the Claude ecosystem, including skills, MCP, projects, and agent workflows.
• Partner with Design, AI, cybersecurity, and platform teams on architecture, security, governance, and compliance.
• Advise design leadership on AI strategy, technical standards, tooling, and investment decisions.

This is a highly hands-on principal-level role for someone who can move rapidly from concept and prototype to production. You will personally build AI-enabled products, internal design tools, integrations, and technical frameworks while establishing standards that can scale across the broader organization.

• Experience building or integrating MCP servers, agent tooling, API gateways, or comparable infrastructure.
• Strong Git/GitHub engineering and CI/CD experience.
• Experience building internal tools, automations, APIs, plugins, and integrations.
• Strong design sensibility with the ability to translate sophisticated designs into polished, pixel-accurate applications.
• Ability to operate independently as the primary engineer while influencing senior design and technical stakeholders.
